Typical Delivery Timeframes
So you know what to expect before you pay, here are the timeframes we typically work to.
Because our refund terms depend on whether work has started or been delivered, these estimates
help set expectations up front. Exact timelines for custom work are always confirmed in
writing on your approved Quote before any payment is taken.
- Web Hosting: Accounts are provisioned and activated within 24 hours of payment — usually much sooner.
- Small websites & landing pages: Typically 1–2 weeks from approved scope and content hand-off.
- Standard business websites: Typically 2–4 weeks, depending on page count and features.
- Custom development & web/mobile apps: Typically 4–12 weeks, delivered in agreed milestones.
- AI & automation projects: Typically 2–8 weeks, depending on complexity and integrations.
- One-time technical services (audits, speed optimization, malware removal, error fixes, SSL setup): Usually completed within 1–3 business days, many within hours.
- Maintenance plans: Ongoing — routine requests are actioned within your plan’s response window.
These are estimates, not guarantees; the timeline agreed in your Quote always takes precedence.
If we fail to deliver within the agreed timeframe through no fault of yours, you may be eligible
for a refund under our Exceptions policy (Section 7) below.
1. Web Hosting
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All hosting plans (Starter, Pro, Business) come with a 7-day money-back guarantee
from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with our hosting service for any reason, you
may request a full refund within the first 7 days — no questions asked.
- The 7-day period begins on the date your hosting account is activated.
- Refund requests after 7 days will not be honored for the current billing period.
- Domain registration fees (if purchased separately) are non-refundable.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Hosting Cancellation (After 7 Days)
- You may cancel your hosting plan at any time by contacting us or through the client portal.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time in the current billing period.
- Your website data will be retained for 7 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted.
2. Custom Development Projects
Custom projects (website development, web/mobile apps, AI & automation) are scoped and priced individually
through a Quote. Because these are bespoke services tailored to your specific requirements, the following
refund conditions apply:
Before Work Begins
- If you cancel a project before any work has started, your deposit is refundable minus a 10% administrative fee.
- “Work has started” means we have begun design, development, planning, or any other billable activity on your project.
- Cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
After Work Has Begun
- Once work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.
- If you cancel a project mid-way, you are responsible for paying for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
- We will provide you with all completed deliverables at the time of cancellation.
- Any amount paid beyond the value of work completed will be refunded within 14 business days.
After Project Delivery
- Once a project (or project milestone) has been delivered and accepted, no refunds are issued for that portion of work.
- Deliverables are considered accepted if no written objection is raised within 7 business days of delivery notification.
- If a deliverable does not meet the specifications outlined in the approved Quote, we will revise it at no additional cost. This is not a refund — it is our commitment to delivering what was agreed.
3. Maintenance Subscriptions
Maintenance plans (Basic, Professional, Enterprise) are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually.
- You may cancel at any time — there are no long-term contracts.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to receive service until then.
- No refunds are issued for the current billing period, whether billed monthly or annually.
- If you downgrade your plan, the new rate takes effect at the start of the next billing period.
4. One-Time Technical Services
One-time services include website audits, speed optimization, malware removal, critical error fixes, SSL setup, and database optimization.
Before Work Begins
- If you cancel before we begin work on the service, a full refund will be issued.
- Due to the fast turnaround of these services (some within hours), cancellation may not be possible once the order is placed.
After Delivery
- Once the service has been completed and delivered, it is non-refundable.
- If you are not satisfied with the results, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will work with you to address the issue at no additional cost.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request”.
- Include your full name, email address associated with your account, the invoice number or service in question, and the reason for your refund request.
- We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and provide a resolution within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
We are committed to resolving any billing issues directly and fairly. If you have a concern about a charge,
please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank or credit card company. Filing a
chargeback without first contacting us may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account and all associated services
- Loss of access to project files, deliverables, and hosting services
- Pursuit of the outstanding balance through collections
We keep detailed records of all quotes, approvals, invoices, payments, deliverables, and client communications
through our portal. These records will be provided in response to any chargeback dispute.
7. Exceptions
We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Exceptions may include:
- Service outages caused by Zauren infrastructure failures
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Services not delivered within the agreed timeframe through no fault of the client
